in-law blues

i've lived with my in laws for the past 3 years, since my hubby and i got married. of course, it's not the most ideal set up for a newly married couple. but there is a thing called economic crunch that get's in the way.

so here i am now with a 2 year old son still under my in laws' care. don't get me wrong they are not nasty. in fact i've come to realize that i am lucky to have them to look after my son when i am away at work. i have no worries about the yayas because i know someone is always checking on them.

but along with that comes the list below, what i call in-law blues:
  • they tell you how to deal with helpers
  • they complain about you behind your back
  • when money is an issue
  • they pressure you to have another kid
  • they fight in front of you
  • they complain to you about other people
  • and the list goes on...

i will always pray and work for a house to call our own. but until that time comes, i will endure a few more years of in-law blues.
