the first ever "big purchase" i had when i started earning my own money was my nokia 8250. coming from my nokia 5110, it was a big improvement. i was mesmerized by the 8210's blue backlight, small handy size, and butterfly looking keypad. so, it didn't matter that i paid Php27,000 or so for it when it first came out. call me a sucker but i just loved that phone to bits. it took a couple of years before i replaced that phone. i don't even remember what i replaced it with.now i'm using an iphone 3g, which, come to think of it, i paid less for than the 8250. hopefully, i don't replace this anytime soon. :)
